Norton Rose Fulbright advises DP World London Gateway on sale of site for UPS’ new logistics facility

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised DP World London Gateway on the sale of a 44 acre site at the DP World London Gateway Logistics Park to UPS Limited for the construction of a new 32,000 square metre packaging, sorting and delivery facility.

The new facility will act as a UK hub and distribution centre for the local area as well as a key gateway to UPS’s global transportation network. Once completed, the facility will be able to process approximately 30,000 packages per hour. It is expected to be completed in 2017.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team worked with DP World London Gateway’s internal legal team led by Julian Plescia, Head of Shared Services and Legal Compliance.

DP World London Gateway Port and Logistics Park is a tri-modal facility combining a world class deep-sea container terminal on the same site as  a 9 million sq ft logistics park, supported by state of the art infrastructure.
